The team felt that the colors "better fit" the mascot and would appeal more to crowd. The original colors were black and turquoise but have been changed to dark red and sand.

The Mariners are changing their colors to cream and gold from their original color, Teal. This color change has not been confirmed yet. Their is no specific reason for changing but the players seem to be in favor of this color change.

The web address for the article i found is http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/new-orleans-pelicans-hornets-deny-change-article-1.1213976. The team that is changing its name and team colors is the New Orleans Hornets. They are going to become the New Orleans Pelicans With Navy Blue, red and gold colors. Their original colors were blue, dark purple, and gold. The reason they are changing their colors is because they are changing their name as well. Their new logo with a pelican wont have the exact same colors as the logo with the hornet.

The seattle seahawks have added 12 feathers down there pants, and also have added a alternate gray uniform. And we all know about the new green touch to there shirts. The reason for change was that 36 year old franchise was desiring a more traditional 1976 look they use to have. Fans are impressed with what the new uniforms look like, people seem to like the lime green add to it.

2. The Houston Astros

3. The team is changing from the national league to the american league and want a new look. They have been at the bottom or near bottom of their division for the past 5 years and the new uniforms are an attempt to change their image.

4. They are changing their colors from red black and white to an orange black and white. These are colors that were used back in 1962 - 1993 back when the team was a little better. The mascot was also brought back from that time period, a green alien. The new uniforms have historical relevance to the fans.

The Charlotte Bobcats are changing their color scheme. The reason why they are doing this is because they wanted to update to todays style, and they did this by making their uniforms more cutting edge. They switched to a darker navy blue, adding Carolina blue as an accent, and further de-emphasizing the orange color that dominated their uniforms their first two seasons.

2. The Team changing colors is the Florida Marlins
3. The Marlins are changing their colors because they have a very modern looking stadium, and their old logo did not look right for the stadium. They are also changing their name to the Miami Marlins instead of Florida, and the bright color scheme fits Miami very well.
4. The old, original colors were light blue and gray, which is a little dull for Miami. the new colors are black, orange, blue and yellow, which is much brighter. These new colors fit Miami very well

In November 2011 the Florida Marlins changed thier team name from Florida to Miami along with a logo and color scheme change. When the team changed stadiums they had to change their name and thus changed their colors. They completely changed thier old color scheme of teal pinstripes and uniforms and adapted a new scheme of white, grey, neon orage and black with a very colorful logo. They hope their new uniforms look more up to date and ahead of the leauge.

The team once known as the New Orleans Hornets are now set to become the Pelicans. With the name change the team will also be changing their primary color from a light blue and yellow to red blue and gold. The reason for the change is that they are starting fresh and want to hold a different image from their old team.
